Whole interior renovations can consist of remodeling, updating, or changing anything inside your house. Complete home renovations could include flooring/trim, entire kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, basements, laundry rooms, offices, etc. We can remove or add walls and perform structural changes and repairs. The layout and design of your home may be easier to change than you think!
Kitchens are a truly unique space. Often, they are called the heart of the home because this is where family and friends gather to share in laughter and good conversation over a nice meal. Beauce, the kitchen is a special place in your home we aim to bring design experience and installation expertise to your remodel. We intend to help you make the best room in your home even better. There are many design components to consider when tackling a kitchen remodeling project, from the layout that accommodates your cooking style to the type of backsplash that compliment your countertops. We are here to help you.
You start every morning in your bathroom, getting ready to face the day, so make that process enjoyable by creating a beautiful bathroom. Whether that change includes a curbless entry shower with heated floors or a simple refresh to your floor or vanity, it is up to you. ING is here to support you through the bathroom design and remodeling by installing the newest waterproofing, plumbing, and tile installation systems.
Basements in the Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania tri-state area can be tricky. Often, they come with a unique set of challenges, such as moisture and lack of insulation. They may be unfinished, filled with utilities, or water-damaged. ING has experience finishing basements and properly diverting water or insulating walls to ensure a clean, comfortable, and long-lasting basement. Adding square footage to your home is always valuable, and having some extra space to watch movies or entertain might be what you are looking for.
Trim work, our favorite at ING contracting, is more impactful to your space than one might think. A door that doesn't shut right, old and damaged baseboard, or out-of-date wall paneling can ruin a room. We can change it all. Trim and moldings are the final details in every project and, in our opinion, one of the most important. We have studied trim design and proportions. We chose to work with the best trim suppliers. Whether you are trying to achieve a craftsman or French revival interior, we intend to help you by designing accent walls, custom staircases, and fireplace mantels or by simply installing new baseboards and casing. Check out the possibilities by looking at the Windsor One catalog (our favorite moulding supplier)!
We don't think of ourselves as exterior remodelers. Still, we have noticed a need for decks and poaches in our area, and we intend to bring our knowledge of design, carpentry, and framing to the outside by helping you create a custom and long-lasting deck that falls right into our wheelhouse. Our lead carpenter has experience building decks, and every once in a while, the team likes to switch it up and enjoy working in the great outdoors!
You have to reach out to get the ball rolling on your dream project! There are several ways to contact us here at ING Contracting. At the bottom of the page is a function allowing you to email our team right from the website. You can also email us directly at scheduling@ingcontracting.com. Alternatively, call the owner, Nick, at (740) 632-1136. Feel free to shoot a text to the same number. Before reaching out, we ask that you review the description of our work and find out if our services suit your needs.
After establishing a communication line, we will send a team member out to discuss your project wants and needs. When we first get there, we will ask a few questions about what you want to do, your budget, and how we could best accommodate your schedule and project layout. We can go over any project question you might have and provide you with reference material for inspiration. After that, we can move on to taking measurements or scanning the room if necessary. The estimator will ask questions about individual components of the project, such as the type or color of flooring, paint color, tile, etc. Have some ideas ready!
After the estimator leaves, the design process will begin. Based on the information provided by the client, the designer will attempt to create a project model that best represents the client's desires. There is no need to worry because the design process is free; therefore, the client can ask for the design to be changed at any time. Nothing will progress until the contractor and client agree on the final design. During this time, we encourage you to find out more information and look online or in showrooms for different products and materials.
Once the design is satisfactory, the estimate is built based on that model. The amount of labor and material in the estimate will directly reflect the cost required to obtain the desired result. The utmost care will be taken to generate an accurate, detailed project estimate. The estimate will be organized into drop-down categories representing different project stages. Material, taxes, and labor will be accounted for individually. Therefore, the client can easily see a cost breakdown. We always tell the client to pick what they desire, and they move on to removing, adding, or modifying different portions of the estimate depending on the total project price and your budget.
Once we know the price, and the design we have to determine the project start date and duration. The project duration is based the contractor's experience and project scope. The start date will be discussed between the contractor and client. We aim to accommodate the clients schedule as best as possible but the construction industry has its fair share of surprises. often projects can go longer or faster than expected. The clients may also ask to change certain design aspects throughout the process or ask to increase or decrease the scope of work. However to do this a change orner must be filled out first and signed by both the contractors and client. We will work diligently toward completing projects on time and on schedule to the best of our ability. we do however build in buffer and provide clients with a start date range and duration so as to manage expectation. Here at ING we emphasize quality over expediacne!
Once an appropriate start date has been determined the paperwork will be reviewed and signed before the project and based on the project. For example kitchen cabinets have notoriously long delivery dates. Therefore it is in the best interest of both parties to sign paperwork and take a material deposit long before the projected start date. The paper work includes a construction agreement, estimate, and drawings. The construction agreement reviews the basic terms of the client and contractor relationship, a payment schedule, the total price, and expectations. Signing the estimate and project design just ensures that the client has reviewed and agreed with the proposed project cost and design.
ING Contracting uses a project management software named Houzz Pro (see more in the About Us section). ING adopted this software to help facilitate project optimization, transparency, and organization. The client is given access to a client portal early on in the estimation and design process. This portal will allow the client to view and sign paperwork and track project progress. Even subtractors can access certain portions of the software to help increase their awareness of responsibilities and project expectations
